Apple today announced a new M1 iMac series, which has a completely upgraded design compared to previous iMacs and is available in a range of new colors, but the company did not choose to discontinue older ‌iMac‌ models that use Intel chips.

The 27-inch ‌iMac‌ has not been discontinued, which should be expected as it has not been replaced. The 24-inch ‌iMac‌ replaces the slightly lower-end 21.5-inch ‌iMac‌.

Apple is still selling all 27-inch ‌iMac‌ models, starting at $1,399. These iMacs are equipped with 10th-generation Intel processors and Radeon Pro GPUs. Apple is rumored to be working on an ‌iMac model larger than 27 inches, which is expected to be released next year.

Perhaps more surprisingly, the low-end 21.5-inch ‌iMac‌ is still on sale for $899. This device uses an older 7th-generation Intel chip. Apple may be offering it as a low-cost option, as it's $1,600 cheaper than the new 24-inch ‌iMac‌.

The 24-inch ‌iMac model is not much larger than the 21.5-inch iMac, but it is more expensive, starting at 9,999 yuan. This product will be available for pre-order starting April 30 and will be available in mid-to-late May.
