Key points for selecting rotor flowmeter:
1. When selecting a remote transmission metal tube float rotor flowmeter, you should choose a rotor flowmeter that is suitable for the explosion-proof type requirements of the place of use; during installation, you should also pay attention to the tightening of the casing and the sealing of the wiring port after the instrument is powered on, so as to meet the requirements of explosion-proof, protection and anti-corrosion.
2. For places where the temperature of the measured medium is too high (>120℃) or too low, it is usually necessary to take insulation or heat insulation measures for the sensor part of the rotor flowmeter. In order to ensure the ambient temperature for the normal operation of the signal converter------indicator, a high temperature indicator should be selected.
3. For some measured media that need to be kept warm or cooled, a jacketed rotor flowmeter should be selected. The heating or cooling interface of the standard metal tube float rotor flowmeter adopts DIN2501 DN15 PN1.6 flange connection. If other flange or threaded connection is required, please indicate it when ordering.
4. For unstable pressure of the medium at the inlet of the rotor flowmeter, especially for gas measurement, a damping structure should be selected to ensure accuracy and service life.
5. If the pressure level required by the medium is higher than the standard pressure level, please choose the high-pressure type structure when selecting the model. The high-pressure type adopts HG20595-97 RF neck-welded steel pipe flange. If other standards are used, please indicate when ordering.
6. When installing the rotor flowmeter, ensure that the verticality of the measuring tube is better than 5%, and a bypass should be installed to facilitate maintenance and cleaning without affecting production.
7. The location for installing the rotor flowmeter should ensure that there is a straight pipe section of ≥5DN at the inlet and a straight pipe section of not ≤250mm at the outlet; if the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, a magnetic filter should be installed in front of the rotor flowmeter.
8. The control valve in the measurement and control system should be installed downstream of the rotor flowmeter. When used for gas measurement, the working pressure should be no less than 5 times the pressure loss of the rotor flowmeter to ensure stable operation of the rotor flowmeter.
9. Before installing the metal tube float rotor flowmeter, the welding slag in the pipeline should be blown clean; the stop element in the rotor flowmeter should be removed during installation; when using it after installation, the control valve should be opened slowly to avoid impact damage to the rotor flowmeter.
