[Solution News] Crossing the world just to develop a car light! WPG launches ADB adaptive car headlight system solution based on NXP MCU

On June 5, 2018 , WPG Holdings, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced:

Its subsidiary Pinjia launched the ADB (adaptive driving beam) adaptive car headlight system based on NXP MCU.

NXP's third-generation ADB adaptive headlight system can better improve the illumination range and has a novel design. It has a thin volume, low power consumption and long life. Its high beam/low beam consists of multiple light sources, each with a lens, and this lens has both reflection and refraction. This solution complies with the automotive AEC-Q100 certification, and the design adopts a modular approach, dividing the headlight into three blocks: Control MCU+Boost/Buck/+Matrix drive, providing more diversified design ideas. It is conducive to customers to achieve mass production as soon as possible.
