Abstract: One of the keys to realize TWSR (Through-Wall Detection Radar) technology is how to design and generate controllable UWB narrow pulses. To this end, this paper introduces the basic concepts and working principles of TWSR, discusses several commonly used narrow pulse generation methods and characteristics in UWB; presents a UWB narrow pulse generation circuit based on RF-BJT avalanche characteristics, and performs simulation debugging. This circuit can obtain a unipolar UWB narrow pulse with a peak voltage of -10.1V and a width of 654.8ps. Keywords: TWSR; ultra-wideband (UWB); RF-BJT; narrow pulse
