Starting from the coal production safety situation and the defects of traditional training and teaching methods, this paper introduces the great significance of the application research of virtual reality simulation technology in mine production simulation system. Combined with the actual project, the overall design of the mine production simulation system, the selection of development tools, and the description of specific implementation technologies are introduced. The use of 3DS Max and Maya for three-dimensional modeling, mapping and rendering, and the use of Virtools DEV for interactive design and integration are introduced. A relatively complete mine production simulation system was developed in a relatively short period of time, providing everyone with a relatively simple method to implement virtual reality simulation software.
