【NUCLEO-F746ZG Motor】Introduction to NUCLEO-F746ZG Development Board [Copy link]

The STM32 NUCLEO board has always continued its own design style, mainly consisting of two parts: one is the simulation ST-LINK, and the other is the core chip (including simple peripherals, all IOs are brought out). First, here is the picture:

Still very cool. It seems that the NUCLEO-144PIN all have the same design, but the chips are different.

The development board comes with four functions for users to use. The first is LED, a total of 3; the second is LWIP, that is, Ethernet; the third is USB-DEVICE, which can be used as OTG; the fourth is the user button and the reset button.

I will not include the schematic diagram of the development board, but put it in the attachment so you can download and use it at any time.
Let's power it up and use it. Follow the steps below to configure the Nucleo-144 board and start the demo application (the user manual explains it very clearly):
1. Check the position of the jumpers on the board: JP1 OFF (PWR-EXT) selected, JP3 on U5V (power) selected, JP5 ON (IDD) selected, CN4 ON selected;
2. In order to correctly identify the device interface on the host PC and before connecting the development board, please install the Nucleo USB driver available at www.st.com/stm32nucleo .
3. To power the board, connect the STM32 Nucleo-144 board to the PC with a USB cable "Type-A to Micro-B" via the USB connector CN1 on the ST-LINK.
As a result, the green LEDs LD6 (PWR) and LD4 (COM) light up, and the red LED LD3 flashes.
4. Press button B1 (left button).
5. Click button B1 and observe the changes in the flashing frequency of the three LEDs LD1 to LD3.
At this point, the first step of use is successful.
No problems were encountered this time. Most of the problems are probably caused by the driver. When the connection fails, pay attention to the driver status and check whether the jumper cap on the board is selected correctly.

This one has Ethernet. I don't seem to have a NUCLEO board with Ethernet yet.
