An improved joint probability data interconnection algorithm based on signal feature information is proposed. The algorithm not only uses the target state space information but also uses the target feature information to calculate the interconnection probability. In the case of track intersection and close distance, the traditional algorithm loses the target track, while the improved algorithm can work normally. The effectiveness of the improved algorithm is proved by computer simulation. Keywords data fusion; passive tracking; data association; multi-target tracking As the war environment becomes increasingly complex, active detection represented by radar is easily detected by enemy equipment and is interfered and attacked. It cannot fully meet the requirements of modern warfare. It is urgent to seek new air detection means. Passive positioning and tracking technology does not emit electromagnetic waves itself and has the potential advantage of anti-interference and anti-attack. It has gradually become one of the important means of air intelligence reconnaissance and airborne electronic reconnaissance. Reference [1] mainly conducts theoretical research on single target positioning and tracking, but in actual reconnaissance environment, multiple targets are common. Therefore, theoretical research on multi-target tracking under passive conditions is very important. In multi-target tracking technology, data association refers to the measurement of which target track is updated, which is one of the most important issues [2]. Common data association algorithms include Joint Probabilistic Data Association (JPDA) algorithm, Nearest-Neighbor (NN) algorithm, etc. Under active tracking conditions, the accuracy of target positioning and tracking is high, and these algorithms can generally work normally. However, under passive tracking conditions, the target positioning and tracking error is large. If the data association algorithm of active tracking is directly used, problems such as track loss will occur. Especially when the distance between two targets is close or the tracks intersect at a small angle, the track loss will be more serious. For data association under passive tracking conditions, this paper proposes an improved JPDA (Modified JPDA, MJPDA) algorithm based on the characteristic information of the radiation source signal.
