Design of automobile suspension performance parameters based on computer simulation: Abstract This paper presents a dynamic simulation model for automobile ride smoothness analysis. The simulation model is used to study the optimization design of automobile suspension system performance parameters under random uneven road input for a certain model of Iveco automobile, and the optimization results of the suspension system performance parameters of the vehicle are obtained. The road test results after the optimization of the vehicle show that the optimized vehicle ride smoothness index - the root mean square value of the body vibration acceleration is greatly improved compared with that before optimization, proving that the optimization method is feasible for the optimization design of suspension performance parameters.
