According to Apple's official website, Apple announced today that the Apple Arcade service will exclusively launch a game called "Disney Melee Mania" in December. The game will include many classic Disney and Pixar characters.
Apple said:
Players will team up with fan-favorite iconic Disney and Pixar characters to battle it out in dazzling, never-before-seen virtual arenas. From Wreck-It Ralph, Elsa, and Mickey Mouse to Frost from The Incredibles, Moana, and Buzz Lightyear, each player will select their unique hero to team up with friends and foes in 3v3 matches to become the ultimate Disney champion.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Disney to bring these beloved characters to the first-ever Disney and Pixar arena battle game,” said Simon Davis, CEO of game developer Mighty Bear Games. “Fans will be able to engage in fun and frantic all-out battles with arcade-style Disney and Pixar characters.”
IT Home learned that Apple just added two games, including "Kingdom Rush Frontiers", to the Apple Arcade service last week. The Apple Arcade version of the game does not contain any in-app purchases or advertisements.
Apple Arcade costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Users who subscribe to the service can play more than 200 games on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, and Apple will add new games regularly.
