Remember, many iPhone users complained that their phones consumed a lot of power, all because of Apple Music. What’s even more annoying is that the application also experienced rapid battery consumption when not in use.

According to foreign media reports, the problem of Apple Music software consuming a lot of power in the background is not a new one. The earliest user report can be traced back to April, but the number of user reports has increased rapidly in the past week, indicating that Apple may have recently adjusted some projects on the server side, causing this phenomenon to become more serious.

One user said: "I just bought a new iPhone 11 a few days ago, and my battery is draining too fast. I haven't even used the Apple Music app yet, and the system says it has been running in the background for more than 18 hours and has used up 95% of my battery. My phone has also become very hot because of this. I'm worried that this will kill my new phone."

Another user reported: "My iPhone got a fever. I closed background apps and restarted the phone. The battery health is 91%. The phone is an iPhone X running iOS 13.5.1. I had to charge it several times during the day to meet the needs of use."

In order to fundamentally solve this problem, some users directly deleted the Apple Music app on their devices, which ended the weird battery consumption. However, for those who have purchased Apple Music service membership, this is obviously not an acceptable solution.

Apple has confirmed the existence of the above problem, but the only solution at present is to restore the factory settings. It is not ruled out that the problem will be solved in the next iOS system update.
