For lead-acid batteries with larger capacity, a switch charger is usually used to improve charging efficiency. The actual circuit of the designed 24V20Ah lead-acid battery switch charger is shown in the figure. In this circuit, two dedicated integrated circuits UC3906 and UC3823 and a general-purpose operational amplifier can complete all control functions. The main circuit of the charger consists of components such as power MOSFET (IRF9503), freewheeling diode (UES2402) and filter inductor (130 μH).
