Mouser now sells a new chip for rapid development of precision data acquisition systems
Analog Devices ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ Solution
November 6, 2024 – Mouser Electronics, the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor of the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, is now offering the ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ solution from Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) . This is a 24-bit precision data acquisition (DAQ) μModule system that can be used to quickly develop compact, high-performance precision DAQ systems. The ADAQ7767-1 is ideal for electrical test and measurement, condition monitoring for predictive maintenance, general-purpose input measurement platforms, audio test, and other applications that require high-precision data acquisition.
The ADI ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ solution integrates signal conditioning, conversion, and processing blocks into a single system-in-package (SiP) configuration. The ADAQ7767-1 includes a fourth-order, low-noise, linear-phase anti-aliasing filter (AAF) to protect the signal chain from high-frequency and out-of-band tones, as well as a low-noise, low-distortion, high-bandwidth, gain-selectable analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver. The solution also features a high-performance, medium-bandwidth, 24-bit Σ-Δ ADC with a programmable digital filter, and a low-noise, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator. This 24-bit precision DAQ μModule system also offers an optional linear enhancement buffer to further improve the linearity of the signal chain.
ADAQ7767-1 supports a variety of input types, including unipolar, bipolar single-ended, pseudo differential, and differential signals. ADAQ7767-1 uses a 12mm x 6mm 84-ball CSP_BGA package (ball pitch 0.8mm), which is very suitable for multi-channel applications. Compared with other similar solutions using discrete components, ADAQ7767-1 occupies only one-eighth of the board area, which can greatly save space. The product provides three pairs of pin-selectable gain settings to achieve a wider dynamic range while improving the noise performance of the signal chain, especially when the input signal amplitude is low. With ADAQ7767-1, users can select the appropriate input amplifier for applications that require high input impedance.
The ADAQ7767-1 μModule DAQ solution is supported by the ADI EVAL-ADAQ7767-1 evaluation kit. The kit is paired with downloadable evaluation software to configure the functionality of the ADAQ7767-1 and display conversion results in both the time and frequency domains.
