First of all, I would like to thank TI and EEworld for this event. I am very happy to have the opportunity to evaluate AWR1243. I am a graduate student, and my current direction is automotive millimeter-wave radar environmental perception. I have already decided to choose TI's millimeter-wave sensor to complete radar data collection, of course, because the AWR1xxx series of chips provide a perfect solution. OK, now start unboxing AWR1243BOOST.

Front of the box, 16x13cm.

Internal materials: one AWR1243BOOST development board, one set of brackets, several screws and nuts, two jumper caps, and one USB data cable.

The front of the development board, 6.5cmx8cm, has a CAN port and SPI/CAN converter specifically for automotive applications, which facilitates data processing on different platforms.

The power supply 5V is greater than 2.5A, and I have a corresponding adapter.

The condition of the

board is consistent with that in the user's guide.

The first impression I got when I got it in my hand was that it was very small. It was not as big as I imagined. Compared with the previous 24GHz and previous automotive radar technology,

CMOS technology makes automotive radar smaller and easier to implement on a single chip.

The unboxing of AWR1243BOOST is over, and the next step is to complete the testing and data collection as soon as possible.
