Today, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to use the new display technology mini-LED on the smaller 11-inch ‌iPad Pro‌ next year, rather than limiting it to the high-end 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

In an investor note obtained by MacRumors today, Kuo said that in addition to a new MacBook Air with a mini-LED screen next year, Apple also plans to bring the display technology to the 11-inch and 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌.

Apple first debuted mini-LED screens in the high-end 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌ in April this year, but the updated 11-inch ‌iPad Pro‌ did not get the new display technology.

Regarding the next generation of iPad Pro, Bloomberg reports that Apple is testing a glass back for the next generation ‌iPad Pro‌ instead of an aluminum casing, which could enable wireless charging for the ‌iPad‌.

Additionally, the report states that Apple is exploring the possibility of an iPad with a screen size larger than 12.9 inches, but it is not expected to appear in the short term.
