The CoreDrive E3 MCU is a new generation of high-performance microcontroller products designed for automotive safety-related applications. The full range of E3 products integrates ARM Cortex R5 and ARM Cortex R52+ CPUs and is configured with a lock-step main core. The highest-specification product is equipped with nearly 5MB of on-chip SRAM and up to 16MB of high-performance embedded storage, which can meet the growing demand for computing power and memory in automotive applications.
The Xinchi E3106 selected in this solution is a next-generation high-performance MCU designed for automotive applications. It integrates the ARM Cortex-R5 CPU core and up to 1152KB of RAM to support the growing computing and program/data storage needs. The E3106 development board is equipped with SBC FS56 power management chip, CAN transceiver, LIN transceiver, EEPROM, ADC, ACMP, I2C, RMII Ethernet interface and other functional expansions, with a wide range of application scenarios and strong ecosystem support. With the transformation of automotive electronic and electrical architecture and the accelerated development of intelligent, networked and electrified trends, the E3106 chip will play an increasingly important role in the field of automotive electronics.
