Apple officially released its first self-developed computer chip M1 for Mac. Apple said that the M1 chip has achieved a huge leap and it can make Mac a completely different product. This chip uses a 5-nanometer process technology, and the CPU, GPU, and cache are integrated together, containing 16 billion transistors.
Apple's M1 chip has an 8-core CPU, 4 of which are high-performance cores and the other 4 are energy-efficient cores. In addition, this SoC also has an 8-core GPU.
