He revealed that the device is not a true foldable phone, but two displays with a "fabric hinge." The hinge will make the device more durable than current foldable smartphones, and the device's screen will not bend or fold.
Prosser said that when the foldable iPhone is opened, the two separate panels will come together and look closer to seamless, the inner screen has no bangs, and the edges of the body are made of metal like the iPhone 11.
In addition to the two independent panels inside, the foldable iPhone also has an external secondary screen on the outside. This secondary screen has a small "bangs" to realize the Face ID unlocking function.
