He introduced the innovation and exploration of Zhaoxin chips in promoting the development of TVOS smart operating system from the aspects of efficient chip support, growing with TVOS, and adding color to TVOS with innovative functions, which attracted active attention from the leaders and guests present.
Lin Donghai said that Zhaoxin is not limited to providing high-performance chips for broadcasting and television intelligent terminals, but is committed to providing platform services, relying on its own technical capabilities and characteristics, combined with the TVOS intelligent operating system to continuously develop and explore technology, introduce new intelligent applications into TVOS, provide new ideas for the development of smart broadcasting, and also contribute new experiences to the majority of users. At the same time, he also emphasized that all kinds of solutions developed by Zhaoxin based on the TVOS intelligent operating system are completely based on the existing platform and do not require any hardware upgrades.
Lin Donghai pointed out that a high-performance intelligent operating system must be supported by high-performance chips. At present, Zhaoxin's ZX-2000 series chips for TVOS intelligent terminals have independent intellectual property GPU as their core advantage. The chip performance leads the industry and can provide excellent performance support for the TVOS intelligent operating system.

The Zhaoxin ZX-2000 series chips are based on the quad-core Cortex A17 architecture and have a main frequency of 1.6GHz. Data shows that the CPU computing power and GPU graphics processing power of the ZX-2000 chip are as high as 21760DMIPS and 60GFlops respectively, and the AnTuTu running score exceeds 40,000, with very impressive performance. What is more worth mentioning is that the Zhaoxin ZX-2000 chip also has a unique memory lossless compression technology, which can compress the memory of GUI, Video, and Game by 6 times, 3.3 times, and 4 times respectively, allowing the system and applications to make full use of memory resources. Based on Zhaoxin's memory lossless compression technology, smart terminals can achieve 4K content output and 4K UI experience under 1GB of memory.
TVOS is an important part of promoting the standardized and intelligent development of radio and television terminals. As a member of the TVOS working group, Zhaoxin has always fully supported the commercialization of TVOS intelligent operating system and TVOS intelligent terminals. Lin Donghai said that at present, the shipment volume of TVOS intelligent terminals using Zhaoxin chips has exceeded 1.5 million units, and the commercialization results are the most outstanding in the industry. Since 2013, with the iterative update of TVOS from 1.0 to 2.0, Zhaoxin's chips for TVOS intelligent terminal research and development and mass production have also been upgraded from ZX-1000 to ZX-2000 series chips. With the upcoming release of TVOS 3.0, Zhaoxin's new generation of chips for TVOS intelligent terminals will soon be officially unveiled at the beginning of next year.
At the same time, based on the TVOS intelligent operating system and the powerful overall performance and graphics performance of the ZX-2000 chip, Zhaoxin has launched a series of intelligent application solutions based on the broadcasting and television DVB market, including 3D games, panoramic VR overall solutions, intelligent interactive game solutions, face recognition solutions, etc. This series of solutions are all based on ZX-2000 and TVOS2.0, effectively avoiding additional cost expenditures. In the exhibition area set up on site, many guests showed great interest in Zhaoxin's solutions, and many guests personally experienced face recognition and intelligent interactive games.
Based on the TVOS 2.0 intelligent operating system and ZX-2000 chip, Zhaoxin has successfully created a variety of intelligent application solutions such as face recognition and intelligent interactive games.
In addition, as concepts and technologies such as artificial intelligence continue to penetrate into people's lives, Zhaoxin is also actively seeking ways to integrate broadcasting and television services with new technologies, such as using face recognition and voice recognition to automatically push programs and content, and voice control program switching. Zhaoxin is also working with third-party manufacturers to actively plan a new type of smart terminal that combines set-top boxes, voice control, smart homes, smart customer service and other functions, striving to bring users a new application experience.
At the end of his speech, Lin Donghai said that from TVOS 1.0 to 2.0, and then to the upcoming TVOS 3.0, Zhaoxin is experiencing the key stage of "integration" after "integration" and "fusion" in the process of co-development with TVOS. Zhaoxin will continue to give full play to its independent innovation capabilities, relying on its core advantage of independent high-performance graphics processors, and while launching chips with better performance, it will seek cooperation with a more open mind, create more intelligent application solutions suitable for radio and television, and lead and promote the further development of TVOS intelligent operating system, TVOS intelligent terminals and smart radio and television.
