November 14, 2024, Shanghai, At present, the development trends such as miniaturization and new architecture of equipment are constantly driving the demand for new connection modes . Therefore, connector and other component manufacturers hope to provide more specification options for their customers.
HARTING has made it easier than ever to connect printed circuit boards (PCBs) with a more flexible and reliable solution with its latest har-flex® product line! Upgrade your PCB connections with HARTING’s latest har-flex® products, combining reliability and flexibility. Distance is no longer a challenge.
§ Ideal for high performance needs
HARTING's new har-flex® adapters are ideal for connecting circuit boards with large components, such as designs where capacitors are located between stacked circuit boards. These capacitors are often used in applications that require high torque at slow speeds, such as: robotic arms, industrial motors, high torque machines.
§ Easy-to-use connection solution
The biggest difference of the new product is the newly added latch function. Through this design, the connector can achieve a more stable connection, ensuring safety and reliability in long-term use. To achieve this permanent locking function, users only need to use our newly designed female plug connector to easily complete a firm connection and avoid loosening due to vibration or external force.
§ Overview of the advantages of the new har-flex®
1. Common pole numbers: Common sizes available (12, 26, 50, 68 and 80 poles)
2. Longer pitch: Can connect stacked PCBs with a pitch of 20 to 40 mm
3. Secure Latch: One side of the adapter features a latch function to ensure a strong, permanent connection
4. Controlled disconnection: If you need to disconnect, it will disconnect at the right point, which is especially important for connections through walls or hard-to-reach places
5. Sealed box design: This design helps to keep a safe distance from any wires, making it safer to use
§ har-flex® series adapts to more flexible scenarios
For applications that require connecting larger circuit board spacing, Harting's har-flex® series also provides IDC ribbon cable assemblies to connect circuit board distances of 8 to 20 mm. In addition, for devices with higher requirements, Harting's products can support a variety of configurations ranging from 6 pins to 100 pins, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in different applications.
In order to maintain the necessary flexibility, HARTING's har-flex® series has reserved a small interface with a pitch of 1.27 mm, so that the har-flex® series can be used in almost every small application, while still maintaining very robust characteristics. Depending on the required application type, users can freely choose 6-100 pins and whether the accessories are SMT surface mount technology or through an additional THR through-hole reflow process.
