The MAX2360 is a dual-band, three-mode transmitter. The MAX2362 supports single-sideband single-mode (PCS) operation, and the MAX2364 supports single-sideband cellular dual-mode operation. The MAX2364 is flexible in structure and can adapt to different applications, such as three-mode, dual-mode or single-mode mobile phones, satellite phones, wireless data links (WAN/LAN-wide area network/local area network), wireless local area network WAN/LAN, high-speed data modulator/demodulator, high-speed digital cordless phones, wireless local loops (WLL) and other fields.
The main technical features are as follows:
・Carry out data and select working mode through 3-wire serial bus compatible with SPITM/QSPITM/MICROWIRETM;
・Control of charge pump current, sideband suppression, IF/RF gain balance and standby mode through serial interface;
・RF frequency is 800~1000 MHz/1700~2000 MHz;
・I/Q modulation method;
・Operating voltage is 2.7~ 5.5 V;
・Power supply current (at VGC = 2.5 V, plus 10 mA local oscillator buffer current): PCS mode: 142 ~ 171 mA; cellular digital mode: 142 ~ 174 mA, FM mode: 124 ~ 132 mA, sleep mode: 20uA;
・RF output power: 12 dBm for FM mode, 7 dBm for other modes;
・The power control range is 30 dB (VGC=0.5~2.5 v).
