According to foreign media reports, automotive lidar solution supplier Cepton will participate in two trade shows in Europe in September and will showcase its lidar technology.
Cepton will set up booths at IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Germany and AutoSens in Brussels, Belgium. During the exhibition, Cepton representatives will demonstrate lidar products that can be applied to smart mobility applications, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles (AV) and smart infrastructure. In particular, Cepton will show its automotive-grade long-range lidar Vista®-X90 to European customers for the first time.

Vista-X90 is powered by Cepton's patented MMT, featuring high performance, automotive-grade reliability and low cost, meeting the key requirements for mass-market LiDAR to adopt ADAS in consumer vehicles. Vista-X90 features a compact embedded design and is optimized for easy vehicle integration, offering multiple placement options such as headlights, dashboard, behind the windshield or on the roof. Vista-X90 uses Cepton's next-generation ASIC technology, supports AUTOSAR and wireless (OTA) functions, and has advanced features for functional safety, cybersecurity and external calibration.
Visitors to the Cepton booth at IAA and AutoSens will also be able to learn about Cepton’s portfolio of lidar solutions that can be used not only in the automotive sector, but also to support smart infrastructure applications such as smart roads and rails, electronic toll collection, etc. These solutions include Cepton’s Vista-P Series, Sora™-P Series, Helius® Smart LiDAR System and Cepton’s latest miniature, high field of view (FOV) short-range lidar, Nova.
Additionally, Cepton CFO Dr. Winston Fu will be at AutoSens on September 14 to discuss the key success factors in achieving LiDAR scalability. As a technologist and investor with more than 20 years of experience helping build technology companies, Winston Fu will discuss what is different about Cepton’s commercialization of LiDAR technology for the mass market.
