Mouser Electronics, an electronic component distributor focused on introducing new products and offering a wide range of inventory, has won Digilent's 2019 Distributor of the Year Award. Digilent is a well-known engineering design company under National Instruments, dedicated to providing technical teaching design tools to students, universities and OEM manufacturers around the world. This award is intended to recognize Mouser's outstanding performance in multiple areas over the past year, and Digilent product sales have achieved continuous growth for the fifth consecutive year at Mouser.
"We are very grateful to Digilent for this important award," said Glenn Smith, President and CEO of Mouser Electronics. "Digilent is a great supplier partner for us and providing quality customer service is a common goal for both companies. We value our business partnership with Digilent and look forward to continuing to work together to create great success!"
“Our partnership with Mouser Electronics has been a tremendous success this year, helping us achieve year-over-year sales growth,” said Steve Johnson, president and CEO of Digilent.
Mouser won the Distributor of the Year Award mainly for its outstanding performance in the following aspects: introducing a large number of Digilent products; working closely with Digilent in joint promotions to drive global sales growth; and providing customers with a full range of quality services. In 2017, Mouser also won the Digilent Global Distributor Excellence Award for its considerable customer growth, high-quality services and excellent logistics.
