As data acquisition systems continue to improve in accuracy, FET input amplifiers that meet the corresponding speed, low noise and bandwidth requirements are needed.
The latest members of ADI's FastFET family of op amps meet these performance requirements. The ADA4817-1 (
single ) and ADA4817-2 (dual) FET input amplifiers offer twice the –3 dB bandwidth (1050 MHz) of competing products
, 40% lower noise (4 nV/√Hz), and half the input capacitance (1.3 pF). The single-channel ADA4817 has very high input impedance,
making it for use as a photodiode preamplifier, active filter, and
front end for data acquisition equipment such as oscilloscopes, test equipment, and medical imaging. It is available in 8-lead LFCSP and SOIC packages. The ADA4817-2 (dual) is available in a 16
-lead LFCSP package. All packages feature a dedicated feedback pin. Used to reduce parasitic effects and PCB design complexity.
Both products are rated for operation over the extended temperature range of –40..C to +105..C.
