AMD 12-year veteran Robert Hallock joins Intel

In September 2022, AMD technical marketing director Robert Hallock announced his resignation. Now, he went to his arch-rival Intel. Robert Hallock previously worked diligently at AMD for 12 years and is a well-known public figure. He often interacts with AMD users, fans and media on Reddit, Discord, YouTube and other platforms to promote AMD products and technologies. After leaving AMD, he took a break and then opened a car modification company.

Now, he has joined Intel, and his title seems a little higher: "Senior Director of Technical Marketing."

At Intel, he will focus on consumer-grade processor AI work, and the next Core Ultra Meteor Lake processor will make great strides in AI, integrating an independent VPU AI engine for the first time, claiming to usher in the era of "AI PC" .

Robert Hallock said that PC will always be fresh, AI is definitely extraordinary, and it is not common to have such new breakthroughs. This job makes him very excited.
