New Product Express | Littelfuse Launches 80A Discrete Bidirectional TVS Diodes with Lower Standoff Voltage for Protecting Low Voltage Power Buses

Safely absorbs repetitive ESD shocks without performance degradation

Littelfuse has introduced the latest product in the SP11xx series of bidirectional TVS diodes (SPA® diodes) - 80A discrete bidirectional TVS diodes. The SP1103C series 80A discrete bidirectional TVS diodes provide circuit designers with a lower standoff voltage for protecting low-voltage power buses from electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.

SP1103C Series TVS Diode Arrays

Constructed as a transient suppression diode using a proprietary silicon avalanche manufacturing technology, this diode protects each I/O pin, providing a high level of protection for electronic devices that are highly sensitive to destructive ESD. The diode is robust enough to safely absorb ±30kV repetitive ESD strikes without performance degradation. In addition, each diode can safely dissipate 80A of 8/20μs waveform surge current at a very low clamping voltage.

SP1103C Series TVS Diode Arrays are commonly used in automotive electronics, industrial products, consumer electronics, switches/buttons, test equipment/meters, point-of-sale terminals, medical devices, laptops/desktops/servers, and computer peripherals.
