First impression

The story begins two years ago.

In October 2018, Erica Li from the Shenzhen safety team came to the Texas Instruments Hope Primary School in Lashi Town, Xiangdong District, Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province as a TI volunteer with her colleagues to bring a public welfare class to the children in the mountains .

Erica

Do you want to get out of the mountains?

In no mood--

children

This is the conversation Erica had with the children at that time. This conversation made her more determined to let the children in her hometown get in touch with the world outside the mountains. The children here are just like other children, lively, kind, innocent and full of curiosity. She hopes to help the children in her hometown break through the barriers of information isolation and no longer be blocked by the mountains.

Spread the love

With this belief, two and a half years later, on January 15, 2021, Erica returned to Pingxiang Hope Primary School again. This time, she also brought the children a heartfelt gift package - 480 boxes of crayons .

And behind these crayons, there is a touching story .

It turned out that in the past two years, Erica has become the leader of the community volunteer team in Shenzhen , organizing and leading volunteers to participate in many activities. Erica's enthusiasm has touched many colleagues around her, including her manager Frank Huang.

Frank's daughter Kelly founded L'Amour², a charitable art club, in 2017. The club raised money by selling clothes designed by members. Inspired by Erica and encouraged by Frank, Kelly decided to use all the proceeds from the club to buy boxes of crayons. Frank also donated nearly 100 boxes of crayons to support his daughter.

After a long journey, 480 boxes of crayons finally arrived at the Texas Instruments Hope Primary School in Lashi Town, Xiangdong District, Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province. Crayons were distributed to each child , and in the hands of the children, each crayon became a thing in the world. The children drew the crescent moon in the starry sky, and drew angels. Each painting showed their yearning and longing for a better life.

Showing Love

After receiving the crayons, the children wrote thank-you letters to the volunteers . They used the most childish language and the most neat handwriting to express their most sincere thanks. Through these words, one can seem to see the children writing seriously.

Keep loving

In addition to being used for painting, small crayons also carry kindness, love and hope. Drops of water make a deep pool, and sand gathers to form a tower. Everyone's little love gathers into a gurgling stream, warming everyone.

Little Xin achieves big dreams! It is precisely because of the support of the warm and kind TIers and their families that TI can continuously pass on love, spread the hope of love, and illuminate the future of the children!

The world is big, but because of love, this world is just between you and me.

TI has never stopped its charity journey.
