About the "edge" of the pulse [Copy link]

The edge when a positive pulse is generated is generally called the rising edge, and the edge when it ends is called the falling edge.

So, for the driving signal of P-MOSFET, the edge where the pulse starts is indeed the decrease of the potential at that point, and it seems a bit inappropriate to call it the rising edge.

I will change my habit in the future. Regardless of whether the pulse is positive or negative, the starting edge is called the pulse leading edge and the ending edge is called the pulse trailing edge.
