There are almost no major changes in the design of Apple's 2022 iPhone SE. Compared with the previous generation, the main difference is the replacement of the A15 chip and a slight increase in battery capacity.
Existing tests by netizens have found that although the new phone is based on the same A15 Bionic processor, the battery life of the iPhone 13 mini is longer than that of the iPhone SE, which Apple uses a large battery as a selling point.
In the test, YouTuber @B randon Butch used iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone XR for comparison.
The Apple iPhone 13 mini has a higher screen resolution than the 2022 iPhone SE, but the latter only lasts 5 hours and 16 minutes, while the iPhone 13 mini lasts 5 hours and 55 minutes.
Butch said that the camera app on the 2022 iPhone SE affected the battery life. But in general, the battery capacity of these devices is different, which is the main reason.
Apple launched the 2022 iPhone SE model in March. Apple said that the phone uses a 2018mAh built-in lithium-ion battery, is equipped with a six-core A15 Bionic chip and iOS 15 system, and has a video playback time of up to 15 hours.
