CATL announced today that it will hold a sodium-ion battery launch conference on July 29.
Previously, CATL stated at its annual shareholders' meeting that the sodium-ion battery project is conducting forward-looking technical research through the established 21C laboratory, and is currently promoting the layout of new technologies including all-solid-state, lithium-air, heavy metal-free batteries, and sodium ions.
The new energy power battery industry that CATL is engaged in is a key industry supported by the national industrial policy. With the advancement of technology, large-scale investment of industrial funds, and the maturity of the industrial chain, the cost of power batteries has dropped rapidly. It is understood that CATL has ranked first in the global market share of power battery usage for the past four consecutive years. CATL stated at the meeting that it will continue to expand its production and operation scale in the future, enhance its scale advantages, and continue to maintain its leading position in the industry.
