On January 2, according to foreign media reports, after the Pixel phone updated the December security patch, the Pixel Launcher had an error.
The report pointed out that some users noticed that the Pixel Launcher APP icon disappeared inexplicably, but the APP name below the icon was still there.
According to user feedback received by foreign media, the affected models include Pixel 4, Pixel 3a and Pixel 2 XL. It is hoped that Pixel can fix this bug as soon as possible in this month's update.
In addition, foreign media previously revealed that the Pixel 4 series can't be unlocked with eyes closed, and Google promised to update and fix this problem in the future. However, no relevant update has been pushed so far.
It is worth noting that facial recognition on the Pixel 4 series is the only biometric security option for the phone, and there is no fingerprint unlocking solution commonly used by most models. If facial recognition cannot be used, then users can only consider traditional unlocking methods such as passwords or patterns.
