CC1352R SimpleLink High-Performance Dual-Band Wireless MCU
[Copy link]
The CC1352R device is a multiprotocol Sub-1 GHz and 2.4 GHz wireless MCU targeting Wireless M-Bus, IEEE 802.15.4g, Smart Objects with IPv6 (6LoWPAN), Thread, Zigbee, KNX RF, Wi-SUN, Bluetooth 5 Low Energy, and proprietary systems including the TI 15.4-Stack.
The CC1352R device is a member of the SimpleLink MCU platform of cost-effective, ultra-low power, 2.4 GHz and Sub-1 GHz RF devices. Very low active RF and microcontroller (MCU) currents, sleep currents below 1 μA, and up to 80KB of parity-protected RAM retention provide excellent battery life and support long-duration operation in energy-harvesting applications on small coin cells.
The CC1352R device combines a flexible ultra-low power RF transceiver with a powerful 48 MHz
Arm Cortex-M4F CPU in a platform that supports multiple physical layers and RF standards. A dedicated radio controller (Arm Cortex-M0) processes low-level RF protocol commands stored in ROM or RAM, ensuring ultra-low power and excellent flexibility. The low power consumption of the CC1352R device does not compromise RF performance, and the CC1352R device has excellent sensitivity and ruggedness (selectivity and blocking) performance. The flexible radio in the CC1352R supports time-division multiplexed multi-protocol and multi-band
operation through the Dynamic Multi-Protocol Manager (DMM) driver.
The CC1352R device is a highly integrated true single-chip solution that incorporates a complete RF system and an on-chip DC/DC converter. Sensors can be processed at very low power through a programmable, autonomous ultra-low power sensor controller CPU with 4KB of program and data SRAM memory. The sensor controller with fast wake-up and ultra-low power 2MHz mode is designed to sample, buffer and process analog and digital sensor data so that the MCU system can maximize sleep time and minimize active power consumption.
