According to Luwang.com, Core Interconnect Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. has developed 6 chips, 4 of which (two ADCs, one sensor conditioning chip, and one MCU) have completed enterprise testing and entered the risk mass production stage.
Founded in June 2017, Core Interconnect is a startup company focusing on agile chip design. It is committed to empowering industry from multiple dimensions and levels such as chips, algorithms, artificial intelligence, communications, and software through technological innovation, and providing one-stop industrial automation and Internet of Things solutions.
In February this year, Core Interconnect successfully developed the RISC-V IP core and MCU series general-purpose chips with micro-architecture, and taped out several digital and analog chips.
In April, Core Interconnect officially released the Xuanji CLE series MCU in Qingdao Core Valley. The Xuanji CLE series is a general-purpose embedded MCU processor launched by Core Interconnect based on the 32-bit RISC-V core. It has the characteristics of high performance, low power consumption, high stability, etc. It is a security chip with rich storage resources and external interfaces. It is mainly suitable for white appliances, industrial control, Internet of Things and other application fields with high requirements for stability, power consumption and computing power.
It is reported that Core Interconnect is currently developing a multi-core high-performance processor with multi-issue out-of-order instructions and AI and DSP extended instruction sets. According to Luwang, Core Interconnect General Manager and Chief Technology Officer Hu Kangqiao said that the performance of the chip should be the leader in the RISC-V industry and is expected to be officially released at the end of this year.
It is reported that by the end of this year, Core Interconnect will have seven chips that can reach mass production, and its revenue is expected to exceed 500 million yuan next year.
