AsiaInfo Electronics launches the latest generation of "AX99100A PCIe to multi-I/O (4S, 2S+1P, 2S+SPI, LB) controller", providing a cost-effective PCIe to multi-serial and parallel I/O bridge chip solution. Through the PCI Express interface, customers can easily support multiple serial, parallel, SPI or local bus interfaces to meet the market demand for I/O interface bridging in industrial, medical and embedded system products.
ASIX Electronics Corporation continues to delve into the industrial Ethernet chip and I/O interface bridge market. After launching a new EtherCAT slave to IO-Link master gateway and IO-Link device software protocol stack solution, ASIX today The latest generation "AX99100A PCIe to multi-I/O (4S, 2S+1P, 2S+SPI, LB) controller" is launched again. This controller provides a cost-effective PCIe to multi-serial and parallel I/O bridge chip solution. Through the PCI Express interface, customers can easily support multiple serial, parallel, SPI or local bus interfaces to meet the market demand for I/O interface bridging in industrial, medical and embedded system products.
AX99100A is a PCIe to multi-I/O (4S, 2S+1P, 2S+SPI, LB) controller that integrates a single-channel (X1) PCIe 2.0 Gen 1 terminal controller and physical layer PHY, and can support various serial and parallel ports I/O interface bridging function includes four high-speed serial ports, one parallel port, high-speed SPI master control, local bus (similar to ISA), and 24 general-purpose input/output pins (GPIO). In addition, through the external SPI Flash, the extended ROM function can be supported to simplify the device initialization process. AX99100A supports four main serial and parallel port I/O interface bridge modes, namely 4S (PCIe converts to 4 serial ports), 2S+1P (PCIe converts to 2 serial ports and 1 parallel port), 2S+SPI (PCIe converts to 2 serial ports) and SPI master), and LB (PCIe to local bus/similar to ISA). This solution can be applied to various applications related to serial and parallel I/O interface bridge products, including PCIe serial and parallel communication cards, PCIe data acquisition cards, industrial computers, industrial automation equipment, measuring instruments and equipment, medical equipment, POS cash registers, and various industrial embedded systems.
