The era has once again come to another juncture of the productivity revolution . Robots, as an important tool for new productivity, have been widely used in many fields such as industry, commerce, and medical care .
At the FAO press conference, not only the welding application of a large steel structure factory with an annual installed capacity of more than 500 units was demonstrated , but also cases in the fields of metal cutting, small household appliances, substrate loading and unloading were demonstrated. This shows that collaborative robots are being widely used in various industries.
Fao Robotics has always practiced the concept of "popularizer of collaborative robots" and has become a pioneer and forerunner in the tool-level application of collaborative robots in various industries.
01 More innovation in tools
Product software and hardware upgrades is one of the highlights of this FAO Robotics conference. As a popularizer of collaborative robots, FAO has always followed the path of making collaborative robots more powerful, easier to use, easier to integrate, and more affordable to create more value for customers.
The upgrade of FR series V6.0 is the best embodiment of FAO's technological iteration and strength integration. This series of products not only has a smaller size and comprehensive modular upgrade, but also has obtained more comprehensive product certifications from international authoritative organizations. The continuous upgrade and optimization of the software version makes it easier for users to use the product and helps users complete their work efficiently and quickly.
Another major feature of collaborative robots is ease of use. Fao Robotics continues to upgrade its drag-and-drop teaching technology. The natural language control system developed by Fao AIRLab based on large model training truly enables collaborative robots to automatically generate code instructions and realize natural language control, further freeing the user's hands and making robot operation easier.
Simply put, this technology allows users to simply give commands such as "get me a glass of water" through voice, and the robot will "hear" and accept the command, automatically decompose the actions and complete the task.
Behind this technology is Faao's in-depth application exploration of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology , which can enable collaborative robots to have stronger autonomous learning and decision-making capabilities, thus opening up a new era of intelligent collaborative robots.
02 Extreme cost-effectiveness brings greater application space
The launch of the FAO FR3MT series collaborative robots, priced at RMB 17,800, has brought new surprises to the industry.
FR3MT, the lightweight integrated design of the control box and the main body makes the product lighter and more convenient. It can be lightly and flexibly mounted on various mobile devices or desktop application scenarios, making it easier for users to break through space limitations and enter more new fields.
FR3MT is very cost-effective. It has a payload of 3kg, a working radius of 622mm, and a repeatability accuracy of ±0.1mm. The weight of the whole machine is controlled within 10kg. It is a commercial and consumer robot built with industrial-grade requirements and quality.
Another product at this new product launch conference, the Fao FR30, is a new product developed for application scenarios such as palletizing, handling and high torque. It has a payload of 30kg, a working radius of 1403mm, and a repeatability accuracy of up to ±0.1mm.
03 Ecosystem creates the future
Fao is not only breaking product conventions and constantly surprising the industry with its ultimate performance through technological innovation, but is also working with more like-minded partners to jointly drive the process of collaborative robot tooling.
As collaborative robots become tools , they will inevitably need to be able to adapt to more diverse and complex production environments in the future. This means that collaborative robots will enter more scenarios in the future and will not be a single product, but a complete set of integrated solutions.
To this end, Fao has been committed to creating a more open and compatible ecological platform, adapting to various types of integrated equipment and providing multi-scenario process packages. At this press conference, Fao innovatively launched the application model of collaborative robots + Fao process packages + partner ecological modules. It also fully supports the ROS/ROS2 platform, and based on multiple SDKs such as C#/C++/Python, Fao robots can be seamlessly integrated with other devices and systems.
To make it more convenient to use, Fao and its partners have developed offline welding software packages, palletizing software packages, gluing software packages, robot arm driver packages, and visual algorithm packages. This can not only fully meet the integrators' in-depth development needs , but also help users quickly build various application scenarios such as welding, palletizing, spraying, loading and unloading, agricultural picking, moxibustion therapy, coffee and milk tea, etc., providing more comprehensive and efficient solutions.
04 Conclusion
From products to ecology, at this press conference, Fao further demonstrated its vision of achieving win-win results with more partners and accelerating the development of Robot+.
As the era of "robot +" and "artificial intelligence +" is coming, Fao continues to walk on the road of industry pioneer , lowering the threshold and entry cost of collaborative robots through continuous technology iteration and innovative supply chain models, and actively exploring the application boundaries of collaborative robots with a more comprehensive product portfolio, hoping to enable more application scenarios and return collaborative robots to their basic tool attributes.
