Product DescriptionMS31211
is a low voltage, high current, single full bridge driver. It can be used in low voltage and battery powered motion control applications, and has a built-in charge pump to provide the gate drive voltage required by the internal power NMOS.MS31211
can provide a peak current of up to 3.2A, its power supply range is from 1.8V to 10V, and the logic supply range is from 1.8V to 6V.
Two input pins can control the DC motor to work in forward, reverse, brake and coasting modes.The full bridge is controlled by IN1/IN2 logic, and enters standby mode when all INx=0V for more than 3ms.

Functional Description
The MS31211 is a low voltage, single full-bridge driver that can be used to drive a DC motor.
Full-bridge control logic


Standby mode
The MS31211 provides a standby mode. When the time when IN1=IN2=0 exceeds 3ms, the chip will enter the standby mode. In standby mode, all modules of the chip will be turned off. If one of the INx pins is pulled high, the chip will enter the normal working mode from the standby mode.
The power supply and input pins
VDD and VM can be powered on or off in a non-sequential manner. When VDD is powered off, the chip will enter a low power state, at which point VM consumes only a small current. If the VM voltage is between 1.8V and 6V, VDD and VM can be connected together externally for power supply.
Protection circuit
The MS31211 provides protection circuits, including undervoltage protection, overtemperature protection, etc. In the protection state, the nFAULT pin will be pulled low.

Recommended operating parameters


This model requires a minimum operating voltage of 1.8V to work. While supporting low voltage, it can also provide a large drive current (3.2A maximum).
