The robot arm is a complex system with high precision, multiple inputs and multiple outputs, high nonlinearity and strong coupling. Due to its unique operational flexibility, it has been widely used in industrial assembly, safety and explosion-proof and other fields.
So what are the common robotic arms we have? According to different industries, they are classified into common daily life robots, injection molding industry robotic arms, punching industry robotic arms, lathe industry robotic arms, six-axis industrial robots and other industrial robots:
1. Daily life robots
Common daily life robots refer to robots that replace human operations, such as the dish-serving robots commonly seen in restaurants and the all-purpose robots often seen on TV. These are machines that can basically replace human labor such as movements, language, expressions, etc. and can completely imitate humans. However, such robots are generally designed and developed by scientific research institutions.
2. Robotic arms for injection molding industry
The robot arm in the injection molding industry is often called the robot arm of the injection molding machine or the robot arm of the plastic machine. It can imitate some functions of the upper limbs of the human body and replace manual labor for automatic water outlet cutting, in-mold inserts, in-mold labeling, mold assembly, shaping, classification, stacking, product packaging, mold optimization, etc. It is an automated production equipment that can be automatically controlled to transport products or operate tools for production operations according to predetermined requirements.
3. Mechanical arm for punching industry
The punching machine industry robot arm is also known as the punching machine industry manipulator and the punching machine stamping robot. It is a special robot arm for the punching machine industry. The punching machine stamping robot can automatically complete several prescribed actions according to the pre-selected program to realize the automatic clamping and transportation of objects. Since the robot can easily change the working procedure, it is more important for realizing production automation in the small and medium-sized stamping production of frequently changing product varieties. The punching machine stamping robot consists of an actuator, a drive mechanism and an electrical control system.
4. Robotic arms in lathe industry
The lathe industry robotic arm is also known as the lathe automatic loading and unloading robot, the lathe automatic loading and unloading robot mainly realizes the full automation of the machine tool manufacturing process, and adopts integrated processing technology. It is suitable for loading and unloading, workpiece flipping, and workpiece transfer of the production line.
5. Other industrial robots
With the rapid development of intelligent industry, more and more industries are using industrial robots to replace manual work. The six-axis industrial robot is a process testing instrument used in the fields of engineering and technology related to natural sciences. Each of the six axes of the six-axis robot is driven by a motor equipped with a reducer. The movement mode and direction of each axis are different. Each axis actually simulates the movement of each joint of the human hand.
