VSEC is the secondary voltage of the transformer, and Vgs is the driving voltage of the synchronous rectifier obtained by the auxiliary winding. It can be seen that even within the dead time, the driving voltage of the synchronous rectifier cannot be zero, which ensures the application of the self-driving method in this topology.
