October 16 , 2023 – Mouser Electronics, a global authorized agent of semiconductors and electronic components that focuses on introducing new products, will now provide new Raspberry Pi products to design engineers, makers and players around the world . Mouser offers a complete line of single-board computers (SBCs), embedded devices and peripherals directly from the Raspberry Pi, with full traceability/original certification from the manufacturer.
Ms. Tian Jiping, vice president of marketing and business development for Mouser Electronics Asia Pacific, said: "Mouser is pleased to expand our partnership with Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi has a broad range of industrial-grade products, allowing our global customers to get more Innovative, scalable products that are certified, low-cost, high-performance and ready for production applications.”
"Mouser's global reach allows us to expand our customer base and provide powerful and easy-to-use products for users of all skill levels," said Mike Buffham, Chief Commercial Officer of Raspberry Pi. "Mouser is known for its quality representation, caring service Known in the industry for its excellent customer reach, it is a strategic partner that we value very much and we look forward to this cooperation.”
Raspberry Pi provides powerful and cost-effective technology solutions, and its products can be found in tens of thousands of applications in many industries around the world. With its compact size, ease of use, and many expansion options, Raspberry Pi devices are ideal for simple educational projects, complex maker designs, and even demanding industrial applications. With solutions built on Raspberry Pi technology, users can easily obtain enterprise-grade systems without the cost and complexity of traditional hardware products.
Raspberry Pi products currently available from Mouser include:
Compute Module 4
Compute Module 4 is a system on module (SoM) that brings the power of the popular Raspberry Pi 4 Model B SBC into a smaller form factor ideal for integration into products. The product is also available with 2.4/5.0GHz dual-band Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth 5.0, both of which have obtained modular compliance certification. As a result, compliance testing can be significantly reduced when designing circuit boards into final products, thereby saving costs and shortening time to market.
RP2040 microcontroller
The RP2040 is a powerful, cost-effective microcontroller powered by a dual-core Arm® Cortex® - M0 + processor. The device achieves high performance at low power consumption, which is critical for deeply embedded applications because long operation times can be achieved with relatively small-capacity batteries. The RP2040 is also ideal for end-point AI thanks to its built-in TensorFlow Lite Micro library, which enables the microcontroller to run machine learning (ML) models for sensor-based analysis such as speech and image recognition, and accelerometer-based gesture recognition. .
Pico, Pico H and Pico W
The Pico series is a set of tiny, fast, versatile circuit boards built on the RP2040. From lighting displays and IoT devices, to signage and production process control, Pico circuit boards offer powerful functionality for home control, hobby applications and industrial control. The Pico W also includes fully certified 2.4GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2, making it an ideal solution for IoT applications and projects that require wireless communication.
Camera Module 3
Camera Module 3 is a compact add-on camera for Raspberry Pi applications that features a 12-megapixel sensor and is available with standard and wide-angle lenses; optionally with or without an IR filter.
