Dublin, Ireland, December 15, 2024 - Vox Power is pleased to announce the launch of the EIRE300 AC-DC power supply series, an advanced product series that combines compact design, ultra-high reliability and energy efficiency . Designed for medical electrical equipment and information technology equipment applications, the EIRE300 output power is 300 W, with a peak power of up to 375 W, and is designed in a compact 4" x 2" package with a 1" slim form factor.
With a class-leading power density of 37.5 W/in³ and a conversion efficiency of up to 95% that significantly reduces power loss, the EIRE3000 series has outstanding performance, surpassing all other similar products on the market. The EIRE3000 can operate under natural convection cooling conditions and has an output power of 200 W (115VAC). This unparalleled adaptability makes it suitable for a wide range of application scenarios.
For seamless integration into medical and industrial applications, the EIRE300 features double patient protection isolation (2 x MOPP), low leakage current, standard mounting holes and dedicated auxiliary fan power. Other standard features include two internal fuses, remote sensing and AC_OK indication. The ultra-low standby power consumption of the EIRE300 is typically 0.25 W, making it an ideal choice for energy-critical applications.
This product series is not only certified to the latest international standards for medical and information technology equipment safety, but also meets the BF grade safety standard, which is suitable for medical devices that need to come into direct contact with patients. The BF grade is critical for applications such as surgical instruments and critical care medical equipment, and is used to ensure that the product can be used near patients without worrying about electrical hazards.
The EIRE300 series offers a variety of product options, with output voltages ranging from 12 V to 60 V, including standard options such as 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V and 54V. Each output voltage has a wide adjustment range, making it compatible with most non-standard voltage requirements in this range. The product comes standard with full range of protection functions, such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection and overheating protection.
The EIRE300 series is designed for Class I and Class II electrical equipment and meets Class B electromagnetic compatibility standards in terms of conducted and radiated emission characteristics. The EIRE300 can operate normally at altitudes up to 5,000 meters, has passed 60601-1 and 62368-1 certification, is suitable for medical and information technology equipment, and complies with 60601-1-2 (electromagnetic compatibility), 60335 (household equipment), 61010-1 (measurement, control and laboratory equipment) and 61558-1 (power transformer safety) standards.
To maximize reliability and performance, the product design uses ultra-long-life electrolytic capacitors and comes standard with conformal coating to prevent environmental pollution. Its high energy conversion efficiency greatly reduces system heat generation, supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, and the calculated mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 500,000 hours .
