Analog Circuit Technology in Digital Technology[Copy link]
Since digital circuits use pulse signals with very short rising/falling edges, they will emit extra electromagnetic waves (noise) including high-frequency components to the outside, and they will respond sensitively to external electromagnetic waves (noise), causing malfunctions. In addition, there are problems such as intermodulation distortion between lines inside the circuit, and sudden changes in current when digital devices are turned on/off, causing changes in power supply voltage. In this way, it is necessary to consider the distributed constant circuit composed of wiring inductance and parasitic capacitance in the digital circuit, and prevent waveform confusion caused by overshoot and undershoot, as well as signal reflection, delay, attenuation, and intermodulation distortion caused by electromagnetic interference between lines. The filters and shielding that solve this problem are all analog technologies.
