Focus on the in-depth application of intelligent image perception in industrial automation, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and other fields
Shanghai, China - July 1, 2024 - ON Semiconductor, a leading company in smart power and smart sensing technologies, will showcase its latest image sensing technologies and solutions at the China (Shanghai) Machine Vision Exhibition and Machine Vision Technology and Industrial Applications Seminar (Vision China 2024) held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from July 8 to 10. The booth number is E2-2216.
ON Semiconductor provides a rich portfolio of intelligent sensing products to promote the vigorous growth of applications such as smart home, augmented reality (AR)/virtual reality (VR), industrial automation, robotics, and the Internet of Things. At this Vision China, ON Semiconductor will exhibit a series of innovative intelligent sensing solutions, including:
1. High-speed industrial inspection solution
ON Semiconductor will demonstrate how its high-resolution, high-frame-rate global shutter sensors support high-speed motion detection scenarios, reduce motion artifacts, and significantly improve imaging quality and detection efficiency.
2. The latest iTOF motion depth perception solution
ON Semiconductor will showcase its industry-leading megapixel iTOF chip with built-in depth computing algorithm, which has high frame rate, reduced motion artifacts, excellent near-infrared quantum efficiency (NIR QE) response and other features, and will provide excellent imaging quality for industrial robots, logistics and other fields.
3. Low power camera solution
Smart motion wake-up function is specifically designed for scenarios that require low power consumption, such as smart access control, security cameras, augmented reality (AR)/virtual reality (VR)/extended reality (XR) headsets, machine vision and video conferencing.
4. 8K Camera Solution
ON Semiconductor will demonstrate the 8K fine images projected by the high-resolution 45MP solution. The solution is based on a 3.2μm 45MP global exposure image sensor, which can support a frame rate of 48 frames per second at full resolution and 12 bits, and can run 8k video at a frame rate of up to 60 frames per second, making it very suitable for applications such as high-end photography.
5.20MP industrial inspection solution
Smart ROI is a highlight of this solution: it has on-chip scale and crop functions, reducing the burden on the SOC or ISP side. Based on a 20M large pixel substrate, this solution can perform on-chip scale and crop, providing users with flexible and efficient resolution configuration, ROI area configuration and higher frame rate, and can achieve simultaneous output of dual VC channels, making full use of the transmission bandwidth, and meeting the unique needs of AI, security and video conferencing.
6. Near infrared solution
The solution is based on a 2.0μm pixel size, 8MP back-illuminated stacked rolling shutter exposure image sensor. The enhanced near-infrared response can achieve high-quality imaging in low-light and near-infrared bands, making it an ideal choice for applications such as security, IOT, and machine vision.
7. Binocular Stereo Camera Solution
Based on the Nvidia Jetson Orin platform, the binocular camera captures images synchronously to meet the needs of stereoscopic vision image acquisition; the 2MP global shutter image sensor is very suitable for imaging fast-moving objects. Even with a short exposure time, the image is clear without smearing or distortion. It meets the application requirements of robots and drones.
