The R&D building built by Sabae Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture), the production subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., in Sabae Murata Manufacturing since February 2022 has been completed and opened on September 13 A completion ceremony was held on Wednesday.
The purpose of this new R&D building is to develop electroplating technology and build mass production technology to meet the needs of thinner, lighter and smaller electronic components.
Total investment in the new research and development building: 6.6 billion yen (construction part). The building is a steel structure with a total floor area of 11,322㎡ and a construction area of 1,797㎡. It is used to develop and construct electroplating technology.
Sabae Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established in April 1979 with a capital of 200 million yen. The representative director is Shinji Nomura, the president, and Shigeo Moriuchi, the director of the office. As of April 1, 2023, the number of employees is 720. The main business includes manufacturing high-frequency connectors and other metal structure products, manufacturing precision processing products (molds and jigs), and electroplating of electronic components.
