New Product | Miniaturization of PoC interface for in-vehicle applications, you need this Murata 3225 size, high current inductor

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has commercialized the LQW32FT_8H series of 3225-size automotive PoC inductors that support large currents , and has started mass production of this product from September 2024.

In recent years, with the popularization of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), the number of high-definition in-vehicle cameras installed has continued to increase. In-vehicle camera systems generally use the differential data transmission standard LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signal), a high-speed interface PoC (Power Over Coax) that overlaps and merges signals and power into a single coaxial cable. In addition to processing broadband signals through circuit processing units, PoC circuits also need to maintain high impedance in broadband to separate signals and power, so multiple inductors are usually required in PoC circuits .

In view of this, Murata has developed the LQW32FT_8H series of products that can maintain high impedance based on its own ceramic materials and winding structure. By using this product, the number of inductors used can be reduced. In addition, this product achieves a rated current of about 1.5 times that of Murata's conventional products , thereby solving the miniaturization problem of PoC inductors, which also helps to reduce the installation space to achieve miniaturization and lightness of the device.
