Please tell me how to draw the differential line of this USB [Copy link]

For this kind of USB package, the pads of the data port are asymmetrical. How should I draw the differential lines?

To draw the PCB diagram according to the principle drawing, If pads 3 and 4 are shorted, you need to convert the PCB drawing after changing it on the schematic. This is the process   Details Published on 2020-4-25 09:15

The pad centers are on two lines, that is, the two Y coordinates are consistent.

Determine the coordinates of one hole, and locate the rest according to the coordinates.

Then try to run the lines symmetrically and in parallel, with consistent line width and line spacing, etc.

Thank you. I saw some samples directly used pads 2 and 4 as data ports, and pad 3 was not used. How was it done?  Details Published on 2020-4-25 09:15

You have to make sure your package is correct. Which pad to use is determined by the USB socket. If the sample you are referencing has the same USB socket as the one you are using, there may be something wrong with your package.  Details Published on 2020-4-24 18:32

Pin 4 is generally not used, so you can just short-circuit pins 4 and 3, which makes it easier to draw lines.
