Following the drastic price reduction measures, Alibaba Cloud has made another big move recently. Leifeng.com learned that on March 26, Alibaba Cloud announced its partner commission policy for 2024.

Compared with last year, the product range and incentive range involved in this year’s growth incentives have been greatly adjusted.

In terms of product scope, last year, Alibaba Cloud's growth incentive policy set the reward level based on the total revenue of all products sold by agents; this year, it no longer uses overall sales performance as the benchmark, but focuses on seven key cores. Sales growth performance of products (hereinafter referred to as: seven major products), including ECS, storage, database, network, security, big data, and cloud native products.

For non-seven major items, including large models, shadowless, cloud communications, video cloud & CDN, etc., a fixed-price commission will be set up.

In terms of incentive range, in order to encourage agents to increase their efforts to sell the seven major items, Alibaba Cloud has adjusted the level and annual rebate amount. Specifically, the rebate tiers have increased and the corresponding threshold has been lowered, but the rebate ratio has not been reduced, which means that more partners can obtain rebates and increase profits. Additionally, incentives for new and silent customers have been added this year.

Alibaba Cloud has also made new adjustments to the quarterly commission rebate requirements this time, adding a new quarterly renewal rate requirement. The renewal rate is based on 10% as a gradient unit, and a 100% renewal rate can get the highest quarterly commission.
