The 8.3-megapixel CMOS digital image sensor AR0820AT is designed for automotive applications and provides features such as high dynamic range (HDR), enhanced low-light performance, real-time functional safety mechanisms and fault detection to improve road safety and ultimately enable a new generation of fully autonomous vehicles with basic 360-degree vision.
The AR0820AT can provide high resolution and HDR in a variety of adverse lighting conditions, with a perception capability 100 times that of human vision in all conditions, supporting the detection and identification of smaller objects and other hazards at a distance of up to 185 meters, helping to enhance advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and more advanced autonomous driving systems, thereby improving road safety.
