At present, there is no clear release date for the HUAWEI Mate 50 series of mobile phones. The latest rumor is that it will be released in July. It is expected to be the first to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 4G processor and the official version of Hongmeng 3.0 system.
Recently, designer Hoiindi drew a new rendering of the HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro based on a leak that has yet to be further confirmed. Previously, the leak stated that the Mate 50 series may return to the notch screen design of the Mate 20 era.
Frankly speaking, although the iPhone has been sticking to the notch screen since 2017, Android manufacturers quickly followed suit and started another flourishing situation. The current mainstream is almost all hole-punch screens.
However, back to the renderings, it seems to use a small bangs similar to the iPhone 13 series, combined with a slightly curved screen, the look is pretty good.
The word Leica still appears on the camera part on the back, and the configuration is a bit like a "combination" of P50 Pro and Mate 40 Pro, with a large circle in the middle and two small circles inside. There are as many as 5 cameras, including a square periscope zoom lens.
As for the part on the right that looks like a metal contact, it may be used for an external 5G mobile phone case. It was previously said that HUAWEI is creating an adapter case accessory that can achieve 5G network support through a mobile phone case.
Of course, we still have to wait and see what the final mass-produced machine will be like.
