An investor asked a question on the investor interaction platform: Does Allwinner Technology have chips that can be used in the Metaverse?
On November 15, Allwinner Technology (300458.SZ) stated on its investor interaction platform that it has launched the VR9 dedicated chip for all-in-one VR applications.
Han Mingxing, general manager of Allwinner Technology's second business unit, once said: "The VR market seems to have gradually calmed down from its initial boom. Behind the seemingly calm situation, the entire industry is actually pregnant with a new round of explosion. Those partners who are truly committed to VR products are continuously optimizing VR experience, performance, content, and applications.
It is understood that the Allwinner VR9 chip has been fully integrated into Google's open ecosystem, developed based on Android 7.1 (Daydream special edition), supports VRroms from major mainstream manufacturers, and provides OpenVROS, built-in core VR application software, and supports application content customization, function development, etc.
