With the advent of the 5G era and the growing development of AIoT, the intelligent upgrade of human-computer interaction and the interconnection of things has ushered in an explosion. Microwave radar human body sensors at the perception layer of the Internet of Things undoubtedly play an indispensable and important role in the realization of intelligent scenes in the Internet of Things. With the help of microwave radar sensors, people can detect the movement of objects, thereby realizing functions such as turning on the lights when people come and turning off the lights when people leave, intelligent linkage and scene definition, so they are widely used in smart lighting, smart homes, smart appliances, smart security and other fields.
But in some special application scenarios, in addition to human motion sensing, people often have higher demands.
1. If someone is lying motionless on the sofa in the hall, is it necessary to turn off the lights?
2. Can you accurately determine whether someone is at home/away from home, so as to automatically execute the scenario settings of smart devices at home?
3. When a person is working, with only the slight movement of fingers tapping on the keyboard, can the sensor desk lamp next to him continue to stay on?
4. In hotel rooms, is it possible to accurately determine whether the guest in the room is away from the room or resting, so as to decide whether to turn off the air conditioner to save energy?
In order to meet the above demands of the market, as a world-leading AIoT sensor chip expert, Space Technology recently officially launched a human presence sensing solution that can detect breathing!
5.8G radar presence sensing chip and solution from SpaceTech
The presence sensing solution of GATE Technology is developed based on our radar chip AT58MP1T1RS32A (hereinafter referred to as AT5820). AT5820 is the latest fully integrated 5.8GHz radar sensor chip launched by GATE. It integrates a high-performance radar transceiver and MCU on a single chip. It is rich in resources and powerful in performance. It can do rich algorithms and can be interconnected with other main controls or sensors. It can also be used as a main control. Thanks to the chip's super radar sensing performance and professional signal processing capabilities, the presence sensing solution we developed based on AT5820 filters out clutter interference through algorithms. While realizing human motion detection, it can also detect micro-movements and even breathing signals, thereby realizing true human presence sensing.
