【About the interpretation of the topic】
Interpreting the topic is very important. Many contestants have a misunderstanding, that is, they want to solve the problems they don’t know and realize all the functions of the topic. I think that during the competition, under limited time and conditions, you should focus on how to score, rather than completing all the questions. Therefore, after determining your topic, read the topic carefully three or five times, first look at the functions you can achieve, then think about how you design, then look at the functions you cannot achieve, and then think about how you score, and form a complete idea and a general plan in your mind. A good memory is not as good as a bad pen. Write down these interpretation points and design ideas, fully communicate with team members, unify ideas, keep pace, and further determine the complete implementation plan. In the process of reading the topic, the scoring criteria must not be ignored, this is very important.
【About Function Implementation】
Function implementation should be carried out step by step. First of all, basic functions should be realized. Only innovation and development on this basis are meaningful. It is best to choose devices according to the guidelines of the competition. It is best to use devices with extra points. It is also good to choose relatively new and popular devices. This should be combined with your own ability and familiarity with the devices. Because the competition time is limited, the basic principle of device selection should be to choose the one you are most familiar with, rather than the latest and most fashionable ones, on the premise of being able to realize the functions.
After the core device selection is completed, don't rush to do it. For the core parts of the system that you think you are not sure about, design a test sample separately, carry out targeted development and verification, and remove the technical obstacles that may exist in the implementation process. Of course, this will not waste your time and energy. The code of this test sample can be fully reused in your subsequent design. This process is that you do the core and difficult points first. In this process, you can gradually form the overall plan and implementation details of your work, and form documentation, which is very important. They are important basis for your subsequent development and important materials for your paper writing.
[About essay writing]
The design report is also what we call an essay, which is worth 20 points, and there are clear scoring points in the scoring criteria. Many contestants asked if there was an essay template right away. The scoring criteria is the template, which not only has an outline, but also content guidance. The question-setting group was afraid that everyone would not be able to write, and they had good intentions. Many contestants have a misunderstanding, that is, they wait until the work is almost done and then write the essay at the end, but they find that there is not enough time, and they can't get the points that they can get, which is a pity.
Regarding the design report, I have a few suggestions for your reference:
1-The conception and writing of the design report are carried out simultaneously with the realization of the work, and this work should be started on the first day. If you wait until the end to write, on the one hand, you will be very rushed in time, and on the other hand, many of the previous implementation ideas, design points, test data, etc. will be omitted or forgotten.
2-The process of the design report should be: first install the scoring criteria and content requirements, draw up an outline catalog, and form the framework of the paper; then in the process of realizing the work, organize the information and data for each part, and complete the design report of one part after one part is completed. When your work is completed, the first draft of a paper is formed, and the remaining time is used to modify the paper, polish the text, and form the final draft.
3-In the part about software design in the design report, remember not to pile up source code. It is best to describe the design ideas clearly through mind maps and flow charts, analyze some key codes, and you can use the entire source code as an attachment to the report.
4-There must be test results in the design report. Don't just put a bunch of data in the test results. Make a brief analysis of the test data and tell the judges through the data what functions your work has realized, how well these functions are realized, which functions cannot be realized, what are the reasons for not being realized, and how much is left....
5-Add an existing problem and future prospects at the end of the design report. Although there is no requirement in the scoring criteria of the design report, it will definitely be a plus. Some contestants said, "I have achieved all the requirements of the topic, no problem, do I still need to write?" Of course you can write, no problem, you can look forward to such a good work, you can promote it in the future, you can commercialize it, you can start a business, talk about the innovation and brightness, add the finishing touch, and sublimate the article. If there is a function in your work that cannot be realized, you can also make good remedies here. Due to limited time and insufficient conditions, this function cannot be realized, but I have an idea. In the future, I can solve this problem and realize this function very well. Maybe the judges will have a new impression of your work and paper.
[Wish you all a happy competition, give full play to your performance, and win the prize as you wish! ! ! ]
